Syllabus Cycle 6 in EN/AR

Performance management is a strategic approach which provides a set of tools and techniques for the municipality in order to plan regularly, monitor and review performance and make sure that all parts of the municipality work together to achieve the goals and targets that are set.

Therefore, achieving effective management is related to the context in which local governance operates with the aim to reach economic and social development.

In Cycle 6 training, the focus is on how local development processes can be translated into action facing performance challenges like public finance management, resource allocation, the procurement process, managing contracts and the collaboration of the public entity with its stakeholders, public and private.
