Today, the sixth and final session was held in training cycle No. 7 of the REBUILD project, which deals with crisis risk management. It was presented by Dr. Gihan Badi, risk and crisis management expert, residing in the United Kingdom. The title of this sixth session was about: “Strategies for strengthening disaster risk management in Libya, highlighting shed light on the situation there”. More than 20 officials from 10 different Libyan municipalities participated in it, and some academics from universities partnering in the project, and the session was interactive and enriching for everyone. The participants agreed to continue working after the session among themselves and at the level of their municipalities to present an initiative to the Libyan House of Representatives to strengthen the strategy and crisis management agencies in Libya, especially after the natural disasters and the problem of climate change to which Libya and the rest of the world are exposed.
